Supporting Families with Young Children

The South Texas Food Bank's Mommy & Me Program helps families access essential items for infants and young children, including diapers, baby formula, and other baby care items when available.

Our goal is to help ease the financial burden on parents and caregivers by providing basic necessities that support the health and well-being of children in our community.

Available Assistance

Eligible participants may receive:

  • Diapers

  • Baby formula

  • Baby wipes (when available)

  • Infant and toddler care items (when available)

  • Other miscellaneous baby supplies based on inventory availability

Please note that available items may vary throughout the year depending on donations and inventory levels.

Save Time — Bring Your Benefit Letter

If you are applying for assistance through the Mommy & Me Program, we encourage you to bring your current SNAP or WIC award letter with you when visiting our office.

Bringing your documentation in person helps us:

  • Verify eligibility more quickly

  • Reduce processing times

  • Provide assistance faster

  • Improve service for all participating families

While documents may be emailed, processing times can be longer. Bringing your paperwork in person is the fastest way to complete the application process.

Before You Visit

We strongly encourage participants to call ahead before visiting. This allows our team to:

  • Confirm current program availability

  • Verify required documentation

  • Answer eligibility questions

  • Provide the most up-to-date information regarding available supplies
