Comedian Spotlight

Laredo Funny_edited.jpg

Steven Sosa

Laredo Funny founder, Steven Sosa, exudes lighthearted charm with an almost childlike wonder when presenting material ranging from his relationships, to absurd hypotheticals, to his family's New York roots. Those roots can be heard in Sosa’s quick talking delivery, a style reminiscent of 1980’s New York, an obvious influence on his comedy. Steven has delighted audiences around country over his 10 years of comedy service. His hair trigger style is sure to leave you in stitches with side splitting laughter.

About Performers

Kevin Fowler

A native of Amarillo, Texas, Kevin Fowler is one of Texas Country leading voices. Known for his honky-tonky country style, Fowler burst onto the Texas Country scene with the celebrated album Beer Bait and Ammo. His songs have been covered by Country Music mainstays such as George Jones, Mark Chesnutt, Montgomery Gentry, Sammy Kershaw and others. Fowler has released nine additional albums, including his most recent solo effort 2019’s Barstool Stories and the collaborative project with Roger Creager- the self titled Dos Borrachos. Fowler is currently in the process of writing and recording new music.

Roger Creager

Roger Creager hails from Corpus Christi. By the time he was six years old, Creager had set his heart on creating country music, but it was until his late 20's that he pursued music more proactively. Merging his musical talent with his business background, Creager also successfully created his own publishing company, No Cable Music. His traditional country music had a distinctive twist that resonated with the crowds, and he was named Entertainer of the Year at the 2001 Texas Music Awards. An immediate success, I Got the Guns debuted on the Lone Star Music Charts at number one. Creager's third album, Long Way to Mexico, was released in September 2003 and mixes the rhythms of country with Cajun, jazz, and Latin beats. The album was well received by the critics and showcased Creager’s musical versatility. His most recent work was the collaboration with Kevin Fowler - Dos Borrachos- in 2019.
