Regional Outreach

Reaching out to our neighbors & Friends in Need throughout our eight county service area

The South Texas Food Bank services eight counties in South Texas: Val Verde, Kinney, Maverick, Dimmit, Webb, Zapata, Jim Hogg, and Starr.

Our headquarters are situated about midway between these counties that stretch 300 miles- 180 northwest and 100 miles southeast along the Rio Grande River.

Despite the challenges that come with distance, The South Texas Food Bank is always looking for new ways to better serve its clients and communities in its service area, as well as give an opportunity for members of these communities to be active participants in the fight against hunger.
